Crossroads Bible Church is a healthy church that is excited about its future. Each Sunday this multi-ethnic, multi-generational congregation of over 1500 adults and over 750 children and students gather at their campus located in Bellevue, Washington. Located on Seattle’s Eastside, Crossroads launched in 1962 and is a member of Converge Worldwide (formerly the Baptist General Conference). At the core, Crossroads is committed to strong biblical teaching and helping equip believers for kingdom impact. The Senior Pastor will provide vision, leadership, and accountability to the staff and the church body as they endeavor to help people find and follow Jesus. The primary responsibilities for the senior pastor will include strong expository preaching, a collaborative leadership style with the staff, the ability to cast vision to inspire spiritual growth in the body and to serve as a permanent member of the Council of Elders.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years of ministry experience at the executive level of a large church and will have a strong educational background of a Doctorate or Master of Divinity. The senior pastor will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to and communicate with people of various backgrounds. This man will be a strategic, process-oriented leader who is more of a builder than a starter.
