Middle School Pastor
The middle school ministry at EastLake’s main campus finds itself within miles of 5 different middle schools with over 5000 students in attendance. The opportunity for growth and kingdom impact as the new Middle School Pastor is huge!
The mission of EastLake Church is to help people find and follow Jesus. EastLake Church has grown to be a network of 9 churches that weekly worship with more than 6,000 people. It continues to grow and has the vision to continue its reach and impact throughout Southern California. EastLake is a church with a heart to remove all religious barriers to faith. There are no perfect people and everyone is welcome. Working for EastLake Church means a person loves a high energy, fast-paced environment. Things change quickly and the staff works hard.
EastLake Church is located in EastLake, a suburb on the eastern end of Chula Vista located in San Diego County. Eastlake was named San Diego’s best new home community in 2010 by The San Diego Union-Tribune. The greater Chula Vista area has seen significant population growth because of it’s thriving economy and the support it offers to small businesses. It is also a popular tourist destination. EastLake is a wonderful community to grow a church!
The Middle School Pastor will minister to the Middle School students and families of Eastlake Church by providing a safe and caring environment for students to find and follow Jesus Christ. They will foster an environment that helps leaders grow and take their next right steps as they lead students and each other.
EastLake Church desires to see a person who can speak both English and Spanish, is a gifted communicator, has the vision to grow the weekend program and build high capacity teams. EastLake Student Ministry also values a team dynamic where this position will join a team of staff to help fulfill the mission and vision of EastLake church. At EastLake Church, the Middle School Pastor will have the opportunity to grow and develop their gifts to be able to serve all of EastLake Church.
