|Rainier View Christian Church (RVCC) is a healthy multi-site church making a difference in the lives of thousands of people in the Tacoma/South Puget Sound area of the Pacific Northwest.
There are currently two campuses at RVCC, each with a Campus Pastor that provides live weekend teaching and a large multi-purpose facility in optimal locations with undeveloped land allowing room for expansion as they serve their community.
Rainier View follows a modified “Simple Church” model and does not over-program, keeping their focus on Sunday services and small groups.

Being a church where everyone is welcome, Rainier View is committed to being invitational in their approach to outreach and to consistently engaging in community partnerships, putting an emphasis on local schools.
RVCC’s desire is to be a multiplying church. In 2015 they were the primary sending church for a church plant in nearby Gig Harbor.
The Pacific Northwest enjoys a thriving economy and is home to Boeing, Amazon, Starbucks, REI, and Alaska Airlines, among others, and has major shipping ports in both Tacoma and Seattle. Pierce County has a population of about 800,000. RVCC Parkland serves a socio-economically diverse community located near Joint Base Lewis McCord (JBLM) with 56,000 employees, Pacific Lutheran University, and both a middle school and high school adjacent to the property. Pierce County is a portal to an array of outdoor activities with access to beaches, fishing in the Puget Sound, hiking/camping/skiing in the Cascade Mountains, and exploring Mt. Rainier National Park.

|Rainier View Christian Church is looking for a Lead Pastor whose top gifts, strengths, and abilities are visionary leadership, shepherding, team development, and communication. He will be collaborative with the staff team and relational with the congregation. The challenge for the future Lead Pastor at Rainier View Christian Church is creating an expanded vision for the organization that inspires across all campuses and motivates people to live out the discipleship strategy of Connect, Grow, Serve, and Share.
