|The goal and vision at Faithbridge is to be a community of people who love Jesus and truly love each other. They desire to be relationship-oriented with an expanded outreach into their surrounding community. They desire to move people closer to Jesus through evangelism and discipleship. Faithbridge has many healthy and vibrant ministries for people of all ages and stages of life each week. Faithbridge desires to help people connect with the personal hope and practical help that God can give us. Faithbridge is a very stable ministry environment. The church has responded well to progressive but balanced innovation and has no history of severe or divisive conflict. It has been served by three lead pastors in the 50 years of the church’s ministry. This is a great place to connect, belong, and become!
Park Rapids is a region filled with natural attractions and year-round activities. May through October the local population expands considerably through the return of summer and cabin residents, tourism, regional attractions and special events. Park Rapids is on a large biking and hiking trail system which connects much of north central and northern Minnesota.

|The opportunity at Faithbridge is truly unique. The new Lead Pastor will work in conjunction with the church board to promote and administer the total program of Faithbridge Church. He will work closely with the church board and ministry staff to implement means of reaching desired goals. Faithbridge presents the right person with the opportunity to lead with a great staff and lay team that is hard working and ready to take ground for the Kingdom. He will join a very generous church, unencumbered by debt, with great financial flexibility. He will participate in casting vision in a church that desires God’s best. He will teach and disciple a congregation that is hungry and desiring to grow. He will also partner with experienced leaders full of wisdom and passion who are making a difference in Park Rapids.
The Lead Pastor is considered to be chief of staff. Direct supervision is typically delegated to the church administrative coordinator or executive pastor. Qualifications include 5 years of experience in a lead pastor or senior or executive staff role with oversight of teams in a local church. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Christian College is required.
