Whether serving near or far – in Orlando, greater Florida, or even international missions – as Christ-like servants our church family embraces the call from God to act.
FUMCWP is a vibrant family of believers who believe that God is constantly calling to us and drawing us ever closer to Him. We know God has mighty work in store for us during 2018. To fulfill the mission and vision of the church, FUMCWP relies on four key pillars or elements of focus.
|Position Description *|
|The Family Ministry Director gives oversight to all ministries for kids and families from infants to high school. Leading a team of volunteers and staff to creating meaningful environments for kids and students to experience God in a deep and impactful way. The goal of the family ministry team will be to create an integrated strategy across all family ministries and develop ways to support, train and equip parents to be the primary spiritual leaders of the children.
With a large ministry scope and responsibility, the Family Ministry Director will need to have a “can-do” and “get it done” attitude that is driven and at times hands-on, but knows when to lead the team from the sideline as a coach. With several young leaders on this team, he/she will need to lead by example and have the ability to cast a compelling vision.
FUMCWP is seeking out a strong, visionary leader who has the ability to develop staff, cast vision and develop strategies that will promote growth within the families at FUMCWP. The staff and volunteer teams need a new sense of purpose and direction in this very busy season of ministry at FUMCWP.
