Director of Next Gen
Foundations Church is looking for a Director of Next Gen Ministries. This position is a great opportunity to lead and equip the leadership that is already in place over the areas of students and children. A strong leader with a proven track record in building teams, instilling passion, and communicating vision is desired.
If you are a seasoned leader in the area of Next Generation Ministry and would like the opportunity to influence others on an entirely new level, this position is for you! The staff and volunteers in the next gen department are ready to get started on building something great!
Foundations Church began on November 11, 2011 when a gathering of over 800 people showed up to demonstrate their interest at Bill Reed Middle School with Pastors Carl Sutter, Bryce Carlson and Dan Schmidt. Due to the overwhelming amount of demand, weekly services began on Christmas Eve of 2011 at Thompson Valley High School. A group on investors quickly realized a need for a permanent location and bought the 50,000 square foot MetroLux theater building in December of 2011 for $1.8 million with the intent to sell or rent it to the church. The church raised money and purchased the building from the investors in April of 2012, paying it off in 2013. Additional renovations such as offices, classrooms and a installing infrastructure for a 2nd floor to host a new children’s wing were completed shortly after. Since the opening of the building, Foundations has hosted many well-known artists such as Michael W. Smith, Lauren Daigle, Tim Hawkins, Tim Tebow, Kirk Cameron, James Dobson, and John Crist and has a weekly attendance of around 3000 adults and children and over 500 devices streaming the services live each week.
Foundations is looking for a proven leader to come in and take the existing staff to the next level. A successful candidate will be highly relational and have an extensive knowledge of what it takes to build upon an already successful program.
This Director of Next Gen position will work closely with the student ministry and children’s ministry staff to develop and implement a vision to reach the greater Loveland area for Christ. Foundations is poised to see exponential growth in the near future and they would like to have a Next Gen leader who can help the team navigate that season.
A strong emphasis should be placed on partnering with parents and being the main cheerleader on staff for everything that takes place with students and children.
