Current average weekly attendance is 4,500 on eight campuses and with more campuses launching in the future. The main campus is in Durham, NC.

Position Description *
Are you a born-leader, passionate about creating relationship connections and facilitating authentic community in the local church? Do you have a gift to disciple and lead leaders? Do you thrive in fast-paced, high-intensity environments? Are you a relational leader who also has an ability to strategize and think big-picture? If so, then this opportunity at Newhope Church might be the spot for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wake up every day thinking about how Newhope can help people grow personally and spiritually.
  • Oversee the LifeGroup ministry for all of the campuses of Newhope Church.
  • Identify, recruit, train, develop, and place volunteer leaders.
  • Develop leaders and build the LifeGroup culture for all of the Newhope campuses in partnership with the campus staff.
  • Create a strategy and partnerships with local organizations to minister to the community.
  • Collaborate with a team and grow through experiences and open rapport with staff and key campus leaders.
  • Provide coaching, development and project management around the growth of the LifeGroup ministry.

Note: This is not a preaching position, the responsibilities are focused on developing leaders and growing the LifeGroup ministry of Newhope Church.
