Chase Oaks Church
When you arrive at Chase Oaks, you realize this is not your ordinary “Texas” church that is attracting and trading those who have already been reached. Chase Oaks is firmly committed to reaching those who have not yet been reached.
Chase Oaks Church, previoulsy called Fellowship Bible Church North, was founded by Dr. Gene Getz in 1981. In 2007, the church relocated to the corner of Chase Oaks Boulevard and Legacy Drive and changed its name to Chase Oaks Church. In 2010, Chase Oaks launched their first multi-site campus.
Currently, there are three Chase Oaks campuses, each one striving to serve and connect to its surrounding community in unique and tangible ways.
Chase Oaks currently averages over 5,000 in weekend attendance on three campuses, with a vision to move to 10 campuses within the next 10 years.
Chase Oaks has worked very hard to communicate who they are and who they are not:
Come as You Are: We create large-group worship environments that are inviting and engaging to a wide spectrum of people. These are “come as you are” spaces meant to meet you where you are at, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.
Be Transformed: We create small-group environments where we can learn from God’s Word, build relationships with others, and be transformed to be more like Jesus. At Chase Oaks, we believe that true transformation happens within the context of others who are on the journey with us.
Make a Difference: We build bridges to our community and our world through local and global partnerships. Through these partnerships, we provide opportunities for every person at Chase Oaks to make a difference.
Chase Oaks is ready for a seasoned leader to inspire and develop the large staff team to take the children’s ministry to the next level! The children’s astor will give oversize to the entire children’s ministry (Kidzone) at the Plano campus, as well as collaborate with other campus children’s pastors to create the very best experience for kids and families.
Kidzone is a fun and engaging kids ministry environment of Chase Oaks. It focuses on creating large group/small group settings for all ages that engage kids through worship and relationships. The children’s pastor gives oversight to all of the ministries from birth through 5th grade. Click HERE to view a short video about the kid’s ministry of Chase Oaks.
The ministry areas of the kid’s ministry are:
Kidzone Early Childhood (Infant-Pre-K)
The early childhood ministry environment is fun and welcoming to families with kids. It’s designed with large classrooms equipped with tools that make ministry effective. For Pre-K and Kindergarten, the format is large group/small group and uses the “Bible App for Kids” curriculum from life.church. The environment is set up with great large group and small group areas.
Kidzone Elementary (K-5th)
Relationships with both a life group leader and each other are the focus of Kidzone. There is a flurry of action and activity in a high-octane experience for grade school aged kids. Very soon they will have a place they can call their own. Kidzone uses the “Konnect” curriculum from life.church in a large group/small group format. Volunteers are the key ingredients that make this environment tick and create an unforgettable experience for kids.
Chase Oaks is in need of a strong visionary leader that has the ability to develop systems for a growing church and effectively cast vision to garner support of volunteers and the congregation. The amazing volunteers and leaders within the children’s ministry are looking for leadership and direction. They are ready to fully embrace a new leader with a compelling vision.
