We are so excited to partner with New Covenant Bible Church to help find their next Children’s Director. NCBC is located in beautiful Cedar Rapids, IA and is positioned for growth. With a new state of the art building, 55 acres and well established children’s ministry there is plenty of room to dream. As well as leading the elementary kids (k-5th grade) the Children’s Director will also oversee birth through Early Childhood Ministry Directors (5 staff). The sky is the limit at NCBC.

Position Description *
The Children’s Director will oversee birth through Early Childhood Ministry Directors and lead the elementary-aged kids (K-5th grade).

This position will provide overall leadership for Children’s Ministry from birth through 5th grade. This includes providing strategic direction, ensuring children’s ministry aligns with the vision of New Covenant Bible Church, managing budgets, and supervising other children’s ministry team members (5 staff).

Specific responsibilities related to leading the elementary area include overseeing Kindergarten – 5th Grade, curriculum, scheduling, recruiting, and leading both Early Elementary and Upper Elementary Children’s Church areas. In addition, this person will be over the curriculum and staffing for KBF’s (Kids Bible Fellowship). Currently, both KBF and Children’s Church curriculum springboards after our monthly Family Experience (“FX”) theme. There is curriculum written for a 3-year cycle. This person will also be responsible for overseeing all elementary events such as summer camps and collaborating with our ministry teams for community outreach events such as our Fall Fest.
